Friday 24th - Tuesday 28th August
For the first time, Integrate Youth for Christ will be taking young people to Soul Survivor.
Newday is an event for young people with a strong Christian flavour throughout. Young people come to Newday in church groups. However, you don’t have to be a Christian to come, nor to belong to a particular denomination. In fact, we have lots of opportunities for people to find out what being a Christian is all about, in a laid back, non-threatening environment. Newday is aimed at 12-19 year olds, which means those currently in school year 7 upwards.
Integrate Youth For Christ will be running a Christmas Prayer Space at Long Stratton High School between 14th December -17th December
When: 22nd - 25th October at Eaton Vale Activity Centre

Integrate Youth for Christ have had the exciting opportunity over the past few weeks of bringing the GSUS Live trailer to local high schools. Long Stratton High School were the first to experience the trailer, followed a week later by Old Buckenham High School. Finally, the trailer finished at Archbishop Sancroft High School. For those that haven’t encountered the trailer previously, GSUS Live is owned by the Counties charity and comes on the back of an Eddie Stobart cab.
Getting Creative this Summer!
Young people have stacks of creative energy and for four days at the end of the summer holidays Integrate YFC helped some learn new skills and develop old ones through the use of smart phones, apps, memes and Facebook alongside practical skills, such as art and sewing.
The week culminated in a trip to the beach with fish and chips - a perfect way to end the summer holidays!
Integrate Youth for Christ have just been joined by volunteers from local churches to run their second prayer space at Old Buckenham High School. The prayer space ran for three days and was aimed at year 7s as part of their Enrichment Week but was also open to the rest of the school at break and lunchtimes.
When the pupils first enter the prayer space they are encouraged to discuss their views and understanding of what prayer is. They are then given the opportunity to explore the Christian concept of prayer through engaging with different activities in zones (or gazebos!) around the room.
Exploration Station We are now in our fourth year of running Exploration Station, which has been described as 'the coolest way to explore the meaning of life'.
Having run Exploration Station in Diss over the past 4 years we are expanding to run a series in Long Stratton with the help of the local churches.
Staff and volunteers from Integrate YFC got together with local churches over Halloween to walk the streets and hand out free hot dogs and hot chocolate. The two teams, working in Long Stratton and Diss, met up with over a hundred youth - handing out nearly as many hot dogs!.
For two weeks, IYFC have been supporting Archbishop Sancroft High School as they run their first prayer space, along with volunteers from local churches.
The Connect Prayer Space is being visited by every class within the school as well as being visited by the local primary schools.
3 Sundays from 10th March, 5:30-7:00pm @ Costa Coffee, Diss
Exploration Station is the ideal place for young people to chew over the big questions they have about life, the universe and everything. If you're curious about Christianity or even if you've never thought about it before, you'll find it stimulating, entertaining and enjoyable. Invite your mates!
Costa Coffee opens its doors especially for us on a Sunday evening. We'll be chilling out with drink in hand, catching up with friends. The middle half hour will be filled with an interactive presentation on our theme of the night, including video clips and wise words. Then you get to have your say by engaging with one of the optional exploration stations. Or you can just sit and contemplate deep things.
Elevate Dance Company is the daughter company of Springs Dance Company, formed by the 2011 Springs apprentices. As part of their summer tour, they will be spending a week in our area after the summer half term, visiting high schools to run dance workshops during the week and then performing their show on Saturday 11th June, 7pm at Diss High School.
