About Us

We are an evangelistic organisation committed to taking the Good News to every young person in South Norfolk and North Suffolk.  All of our projects are based on a 4D approach where we seek to Demonstrate the Christian Faith, Declare the Gospel, give an opportunity for Decision or Disciple young people. We work with local churches to support their outreach efforts and provide Prayer Spaces in schools amongst other things.

Our objective is to contribute to a deepening understanding and acceptance of the Christian faith among young people by demonstrating acceptance and love and challenging perceptions regarding young people.  We aim to enhance young peoples lives and local communities by working with young people to build self awareness, acceptance and empathy and to support others in churches and schools doing this work.

We work with rural youth in isolated communities to provide support and activities...

• working with local churches and other agencies to provide activities which reduce anti-social behaviour, such as Light Night events over Halloween and regular youth cafes in our towns and villages

• supporting rural churches to run activities and youth cafes enabling them to engage with local youth, assisting with setting up activities, overseeing , training volunteers and managing H&S and child protection.
• working in high schools to support students and staff -- specifically by running lunchtime clubs and prayer spaces and providing informal mentoring.  We work with marginalised young people in the schools who find it hard to integrate. We also co-ordinate the St Benet's Multi-Academy Trust chaplaincy project, working with local churches to provide chaplaincy teams in one high school, two junior schools and lots of primary schools!

During term time we work with other organisations to run 4 youth cafes from church buildings in Banham, Diss, Burston and Thetford

During term time we run lunchtime clubs weekly in 3 high schools (Thetford, Diss, Harleston) and 3 junior/primary schools (Diss, Dickleburgh, Harleston)

Termly we run a youth worship event called 'Encounter'

Annually we run Prayer Spaces in up to 2 schools (as above)

Annually we partner with other local Youth for Christ centres to run a camp based at Sizewell Hall in Suffolk for up to 60 young people.
