Prayer Spaces in Schools

The response from pupils of all ages (reception to year 11) has been fantastic. Many of the pupils said that the Connect Prayer Space was not what they expected and they'd enjoyed the experience.

Most of the pupils engaged with all the activities and many of the high school pupils came back for more during the break and lunchtimes when the Connect Prayer Space was also open. The prayer space was made up of five different zones - Sorry, Image, Hope, World and Bubble(!). Each zone had two or three activities designed to allow the pupils to reflect on themselves, their world and to think about God. Pupils said that they had a very different view of prayer after engaging in the different activities.

Integrate YFC is hoping to run Prayer Spaces in other High Schools in the future.
