Halloween Hot Dogs...
Integrate were contacted by South Norfolk District Council who wanted to have a positive influence on the streets over Halloween. The council donated the food and drinks (and fluorescent jackets!) while Long Stratton Methodist Church and DC3, Diss allowed us to use their buildings to cook to and distribute food from. Teams walked the streets and directed young people to the churches. We were really encouraged that so many young people took the opportunity to visit the churches and we had many positive conversations. It was good to meet up with some youth who we have met previously through our school lunch time clubs.
Feedback from the council and local police was good, and it was great to do something positive - all in all a good nights work.
