Working in partnership with local churches, this role involves developing and leading school chaplaincy teams mostly in and around the Harleston area. The role includes running youth cafes, lunchtime clubs, mentoring and working with the wider staff team to run youth events and residentials. Integrate Youth for Christ are passionate about seeing young people’s lives being changed by Jesus in the south Norfolk and north Suffolk area, with our office based in Diss.
Area Youth and Schools Worker
Part-time – 15 hours a week.
The salary for this post will be £9,648 per annum (full-time equivalent of £24,121 per annum) depending on experience and qualification. As the majority of our work is term time, there will be the opportunity to accrue approved ‘time off in lieu’ hours which can be taken during the school holiday periods.
There is a genuine occupational requirement that the role holder is a committed Christian in accordance with Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check is required before a final job offer is made. A criminal record is not necessarily a bar to employment with us.
