Good News

We have had much to celebrate over recent weeks as we have had two young people become Christians through our lunchtime clubs and another young person from a lunchtime club who has attended a local church for the first time and even brought her parents along. We have also seen several of the young people we connect with take the decision to be baptised at the churches they attend, with another one, whose first introduction to Christianity was also through one of the lunchtime clubs, hoping to be baptised in the near future!

Please  pray for those young people who have made a commitment for the first time and for us to have wisdom as we disciple them and encourage them to join their local churches. Please also pray for those that have been baptised and for their friends who witnessed their baptisms.

New Integrate Worker

We are excited to welcome Karen Turnbull onto our team as our new Area & Schools Worker.  Karen brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm which we are excited to see what God can do with!

Karen started in youth work as a volunteer at 16, went on to train at St Martins Lancaster, as a youth and community worker, starting her first paid job for a group of Churches in Kent.  Karen says that "14 years later I am still loving the work God has called me to!"
She has been married to husband Rob for five years and has a small dog called Atom. She says she is welded to twitter and instagram, enjoys photography, blogging and anything geeky!

Thanks to Volunteers & Supporters...

Volunteers at IYFC Brunch There was a great turn out to our recent volunteers and supporters brunch.  We spent time sharing what we were doing at each of the groups and praying for the work in various areas.

It was great to have around 13 churches represented, especially all the church leaders that came.

Oh... and we ate lots of bacon butties, pain au chocolat and chocolate twists!
