Banham Youth Cafe

The cafe is open every Friday in term time, from 8pm-10pm, at St Mary the Virgin Church in Banham for those of high school age (up to year 13).

In addition to the café selling drinks and snacks, there are various activities on offer including Xbox Kinect, Wii, full sized pub style pool table, table tennis, table football, playstation, air hockey, table top games and activities and volleyball in the summer months.

We run a series of youth cafes in local parish churches in our area.  A local parish church may be an unusual location for a youth café but it is proving that these ancient buildings still have plenty of life left in them!

Since opening our first café in Banham in 2010 it has been an inspiration for others in the area, especially after we appeared on BBC Look East.  Integrate YFC now run cafe's in parish churches in Burston and Diss as well as the one in Banham.

Since opening Banham Youth Café has attracted over 300 young people from Banham and the surrounding villages, with new youth coming every week.  We regulalrly have 35-40 young people attending in an evening.
